Short step-by-step guides to get the most out of Visual Antibody. Start with the Sequence Analyzer to get CDR regions and pI/MW, then use the 3D Viewer or CDR Highlighter for structure.
- Sequence Analyzer (CDR/Kabat)
Enter a heavy or light chain sequence (1-letter or 3-letter). Get Kabat CDR1, CDR2, CDR3, molecular weight, pI, GRAVY, and charge. Download a PDF report and copy CDR sequences for downstream use. See CDR Sequence Export for how to export CDRs.
- pI & Molecular Weight
Quick isoelectric point and molecular weight from any antibody or peptide sequence. Use when you don’t need CDR parsing—e.g. for formulation or QC checks.
- Fv Region 3D
Load an antibody PDB (e.g. from RCSB) to view the Fv or full structure in the browser. Rotate, zoom, and export PDB or PNG. For CDR-highlighted view use the CDR Highlighter.
- CDR Highlighter
Visualize CDR-H1/H2/H3 and CDR-L1/L2/L3 in 3D. Load an antibody PDB and use the viewer to highlight loops; export a PNG for presentations. CDR boundaries follow Kabat/IMGT; for sequence export use the Sequence Analyzer.
- PDB Upload (Antibody)
Upload your own antibody PDB file to view and export. Use when you have a local structure (e.g. from modeling or a collaborator). Export the displayed structure as PDB or PNG from the viewer.
